Ontario is opening new DriveTest locations and extending hours at high-demand centres, to reduce wait times and make it easier and more convenient for people to get the driver examination services they need.
The province is opening two new DriveTest Centres in Mississauga and Markham. The Mississauga centre will serve an anticipated 300,000 customers and help reduce wait-times at seven nearby centres by summer 2018. The Markham centre will serve an anticipated 100,000 customers and reduce customer wait-times at eight nearby centres by 2019.
Starting next week, more staff and longer hours will also be available at 13 high-demand DriveTest Centres:

Improving customer service at DriveTest Centres is part of Ontario's plan to create fairness and opportunity during this period of rapid economic change. The plan includes a higher minimum wage and better working conditions, free tuition for hundreds of thousands of students, easier access to affordable child care, and free prescription drugs for everyone under 25 through the biggest expansion of medicare in a generation.
